Shannon Holt is a bodypaint artist came from the fine arts and visual artist of classical formation.

Shannon earned her BFA from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia / Rome in 1998. She was interested in female painting on a figurative subject. And explored the subject on different surfaces by testing the woodwool and textiles.

It is this surface research that has attracted the artist towards painting on the skin of the human body.

Shannon tried bodypainting in 2008, using her usual model as a muse, and became professional in 2009.

She participates in international Bodypainting competitions, and also participates in major festivals
